Well don't forget by bmoore, Mon, July 26, 2010, 20:13
Well don't forget that you had a birthday during this outing... A big one, too! Not too many more powers-of-two birthdays to go.

Walk to Work by Nairubi, Fri, July 23, 2010, 09:15
Sounds like you're in good shape. I've walked to work everyday for the past four years and still haven't lost any weight. ;(
Fascinating by Nairubi, Wed, July 21, 2010, 20:22
It's like reading a novel set in another universe where I only understand half the language - glad you figured it out - I'm sure Uncle Piet is, too.

I had the compulsion to keep pasting blog entries into this thing. Out of 34 entries, I had one Raymond Chandler, four Dan Brown, and 29 Cory Doctorow. I was disappointed. This is boring. This entry? Also Cory Doctorow. Ugh!
Cory Who? by montypy16, Mon, July 19, 2010, 13:22
Apparently, I write like Cory Doctorow. Consistently. I put in about 15 of my latest blog entries (from ages ago) and all but three or four were Cory Doctorow---whoever that may be. The others were all Dan Brown and they were all about museums and things in Paris. This entry? You guessed it: Cory Doctorow.

Laura went to reunion - missed seeing you there. Maybe the two of you will be at reunion together some year.
Attention Deficit... ooh, shiny! by montypy16, Mon, May 10, 2010, 18:04
Good for Tyler Cowen. And you. I adamantly refuse to waste my time reading something I don't find interesting. Including school work. I also skim or skip around while I'm reading, depending on how interesting the book is. If I get bored, I start skimming until I find something that looks better. Then, I decide if it is worth going back and catching up on what I missed, but often I don't bother. I never read every word of a book--I probably read 60-90 percent, depending on how interesting it is. I also am reasonably sure I have ADD (Which, apparently, is called ADHD-PI... who knew?) so books have to really grab me to have a chance.

Sci Fi by Nairubi, Wed, May 05, 2010, 21:05
Yeah for Heinlein. I keep hoping people won't feel like they need to remember everything about my book - it's more fun if they absorb it without thinking about it, I think. I tried the Book Thief and put it down - no longer feel the need to finish what I start. Life's too short.

Good to read some about your trip.

Hehe I can do it too! And I just spent the last couple of minutes alternatively flashing the HW sign and the blood sign. So silly. But now blood makes me think of this video. Quite possibly the cutest ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fVDGu82FeQ

I remember that museum! At least I thought I did, so I searched your log for museum to check and make sure that was the same one we went to with Laser David that night. Good times! Remember when Laser David got his hand stuck in that fire alarm thing?? Hehehe
