Pete's Log: Sunny Bunny

Sunny was not picked up on Monday as planned. Instead he is now scheduled to be picked up tomorrow.
We’ve enjoyed his company. He’s very friendly and curious and remarkably well-behaved for his age. That said he is still a puppy and does like to chew on things. It’s become tradition that when I let him outside, he runs off with one of my flip-flops. But for the most part we are able to redirect his chewing energy towards his toys.
Definitely been a good learning experience on the topic of kids and puppies.
When he first got here we put a baby gate in front of the basement stairs but left the stairs going upstairs unblocked since it didn’t seem he could climb them. This morning he figured them out. Luckily we still had another baby gate in storage.
