Pete's Log: trivia night

Entry #1777, (Life in General)
(posted when I was 36 years old.)

Jamie and I attended a DMC activity fund trivia night at Cortland's Garage this evening.

We got 15 out of 20 right, including Jamie getting that the American who won gold in the long jump in the 84 and 88 Olympics was Carl Lewis.

Another question asked how many of the 10 tallest mountains were in Asia. I lobbied for 10, but the team settled on 6 as the answer we submitted. Turns out way more than the top 10 are in Asia. Oh well. It was a fun evening.

In unrelated news, I shaved off my beard for spring. It also snowed in Chicago today. I can't comment on cause and/or effect.
