Pete's Log: Depeche Mode

Ha! I saw Depeche Mode live at Olympiapark Saturday night.
Tim bought twelve tickets way back in November. So a group of us ended going. Tony and I end up isolated from the rest, and decided to hang back where we had more space and were closer to the beer vendors.
I really only knew two songs they played, though a couple other sounded vaguely familiar. But I thought it was a pretty good show, and it was definitely entertaining to watch the crowd.
This was by far the largest concert I've ever been to. It's hard to estimate how many people were there, but I'd say at least 30,000. The next biggest I've seen would have to be Aerosmith at the JACC. I'm definitely more a fan of smaller concerts. But at least now I can say I've experienced the alternative.
