Pete's Log: iTunes Top 25 (2007)

I did it in 2002 and again in 2006. Perhaps it'll become an annual tradition. Here are my top 25 most played songs in iTunes:

It's apparent that this past year I've been a bit addicted to pop music.
These counts are cumulative, so the play count is the number of times I've listened to the song since 2002. Sadly, I don't think there's a way to get a delta over the past year. I just exported my song list, though, so I will be able to get deltas next year.
What most amazes me is that the most-played song has only been played 57 times. But I do now have 3080 songs, or 7 days, 4 hours, 56 minutes and 32 seconds worth of music. So I guess it's hard to listen to any one song that often. And also, prior to moving to Munich, I did much of my music listening in my car, off CDs, which did not add to the playcount. Now I pretty much only listen to my music through iTunes or my iPod...
In the past year, I've bought 134 songs through iTunes, and acquired another couple dozen through other means. Here's a few of my favorites of what I got in the past year, in case you're looking for something "new":

P.S. iTunes crashes consistently when I try to create a smart playlist with a "Date Added" "is after" criteria. I ought to upgrade my iTunes. But first I need to upgrade my OS X...
