Pete's Log: procrastinating...

Entry #1440, (Random Crap)
(posted when I was 28 years old.)

Well, the time difference to the US is now back to "normal." However, now I have to get used to Mamie being only 7 hours ahead of me instead of 8. Hurray for Summer Time.

My goal is to break 1500 entries in 2007. That means I need almost 7 entries a month for the rest of the year, give or take a bit. Hopefully I can find a fun balance of silly randomness, interesting or helpful coding stuff, and insightful entries on travel or life in general. Luckily I'm already averaging 7 entries a month so far this year. It's still hard to imagine how I was able to write as much as I did back in the day.

Gandhi is pouncing on imaginary objects as I write this. Here's a recent picture of him for your amusement:

A picture of Gandhi, a long-haired grey cat, sitting in the lid of a board game

He likes to sit in box lids. The game is Thurn und Taxis, winner of the German Spiel des Jahres (game of the year) award for 2006. It's fun. Giving Gandhi the game lid to sit in discourages him from trying to join in the game.

I need to get my apartment clean. Branden arrives in three days. Brian in four.
